Overview
This page explains how to request deletion of your Learnimo account and what happens to your data.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
Steps
- Open Learnimo and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account enters a 30-day grace window.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email support@avarnic.com from the address associated with your account.
Include in your message
- Your Learnimo username (if you remember it)
- The email address you used to sign up
- A short confirmation that you want the account deleted
What happens next
We will verify ownership of the address and process the request within 7 business days. Once processed, the same 30-day grace window applies.
What gets deleted
After the 30-day grace window expires, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar)
- Topics, briefs, Q&A, notes, and flashcard decks you created
- Public posts, comments, likes, and follow/block relationships
- AI chat sessions, messages, and proposed-change history
- Uploaded media (images and other files)
- Activity history (views, reviews, follows, etc.)
- Device records and push notification tokens
- Credit balance and credit ledger entries
What we retain, and why
A small amount of data is retained after deletion where we are legally required to keep it:
- Purchase and receipt records — retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws. These records are unlinked from your profile and contain only the transaction details (amount, currency, store transaction ID, product, date).
- Moderation records — if your account was actioned for a policy violation, a minimal record (user ID, action, reason, date) may be retained to enforce our terms against repeat offenders.
What retained data does not include
No retained record contains your name, email, profile, content, or AI chat history.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Deleting your Learnimo account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed by Apple, Google, or Stripe. To stop recurring charges, cancel through:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Web: the email receipt from Stripe contains a manage-billing link
Cancel a pending deletion
If you change your mind within the 30-day grace window, sign in again and choose Cancel deletion in Settings, or reply to your original email request. After the window expires, the deletion is final and cannot be reversed.
Export your data first
You can request a copy of your data before deletion from Settings → Account → Export data in the app. The export is delivered as a downloadable archive.
